DAILY ITINERARY for 18 days
Day 1. Arrival and meeting at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport by professional guide-interpreter, transfer to Ulaanbaatar, check-in at the hotel pre-booked.
Day 2. Transfer to the airport and fly to Hovd. After lunch at the local restaurant, drive to Bumbat Kharkhan Mountain by 4WD jeep. Upon arrival to the camp site accommodation in ger camp. Visiting local families and get introduced to their routine life style.
Day 3-6. Explore the area in search for Snow Leopard, Ibex and wild nature. Visiting local herder’s family and get involved in their routine lifestyle.
Day 7. Leisure time at the Durgun Nuur lake.
Day 8-10 Transfer to Jargalant Khairkhan Mountain for searching and photo safari for snow leopard and mountain wild Argali sheep.
Day 10-12. Drive to Sutai Khairkhan Mountain and explore the area for wildlife and nature.
Day 13-14. Baatar Khairkhan Mountain
Day15. Day spent in Hovd town and surroundings
Day 16. Fly back to Ulaanbaatar, excursions and free time.
Day 17. Day trip to Terelj NP and Tsonjin Boldog area.

Day 1 Arrival, meeting at the airport and transfer to Ulaanbaatar, check-in
Day 2 Fly to Hovd.
Day 3 Drive to Boljim lake (35 [ms) – a bird sanctuary with numerous lagoons and islands surrounded by reeds and rushes, saline shores is nesting place for abundant waterfowl and shore birds. In adjacent areas you can see different species of raptors and scavengers.
Day 4 Explore the Hovd gol river – Shiijigtiin havtsal canyon – Uvdug river -Yamaat ulaan mountain.
Day 5 Khar-Us nuur lake;
Day 6 Khar nuur lake area.
Day 7 Zereg wetlands – Huduu nuur
Day 8-9 Explore the Durgun lake area and enjoy the lovely beach.
Day 10 Gobi-Altai Darvi sum Ihes nuur lake for Globally vulnerable and Regionally endangered Relict gull. (Optional)
Day 11 Fly back to UB from Altai town
Day 12 Day tour to Terelj NP and Tsonjin Boldog area.
Day 13 Free time in Ulaanbaatar
